Hi, I'm ASM Asaduzzaman, a software engineer based in Bangladesh, with a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering and a lasting interest in physics and mathematics. I work on software the way I was taught to work on science: understand the problem from first principles, then build the simplest thing that holds up. Since 2012, I've done that for founders and teams in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe, building the back-end and front-end, setting up the servers, and keeping products running after launch.

Curious since the first computer. Shipping since the first client.

I got my first computer in 2011. Within a week, I knew this was what I wanted to do. In 2012, I finished my first paid project for a client in the United States. I've worked with founders and product teams remotely ever since, on a barter-exchange SaaS, a job portal in Bangladesh, and a book-publishing platform. For the last four years, I've been building the store builder for a large dropshipping platform. I can't name the platform because of an NDA, but its merchants use my work every day.

Most of my work uses Laravel or Node on the back-end and Vue on the front-end. I also look after the Docker and Nginx setup. I like working directly with clients, keeping them updated, turning changes around quickly, and suggesting a simpler approach when I see one.

Outside work, I enjoy maths and physics, shooting and editing video, and travelling when a project wraps up. I've put some of the things I use and places I've been on the tools, gadgets and travel pages.
